We believe that learning thrives when there is strong alignment between a school’s approach and a family’s expectations.
Our admissions process is designed to help families thoughtfully explore that alignment.
Step 1: Explore Yucca Learning
Most families begin their journey by attending and Information Session.
Attend an Information Session to learn how our learner-driven model works and decide whether Yucca feels like a place your child could thrive.
Step 2: Observe with Curiosity
After attending an information session, you’ll receive an invitation to come observe the learners in action.
Observe the studio environments and notice how learners manage their time, collaborate, and engage in meaningful work. This step is an opportunity to reflect on whether this style of learning feels like a good fit for your child.
Step 3: Apply When Ready
This process is designed to be thoughtful, not rushed. Families are encouraged to take time between steps to reflect and ask questions.
If Yucca feels like a strong fit, complete an application for your family to be considered for enrollment.
Step 4: Collaborative Interview
Following your application, families may be invited for an informal, collaborative interview and visit. This time allows both families and our team to ask questions, learn together, and determine whether Yucca Learning feels like the right fit.
Step 5: Invitation to Enroll
If a space is available, complete enrollment and begin your family’s journey as part of the Yucca Learning community.
